The safety and well-being of our team and guests is of our upmost priority and for this reason, it is with the heaviest of hearts that we are announcing a halt on all operations at The Grand Hotel and Grand at Grasmere from Sunday 22nd March 2020 until further notice.

As a family run business with over 80 years experience, nothing could have prepared us for the emotional and financial rollercoaster that we have experienced over the last couple of months. We will however come through this stronger.

Our telephones will not be in operation so please refrain from contacting us. We will continue to stay in touch and provide updates during this situation via our website and social media channels with the latest information.

We hope that in the not too distant future, our doors will be open again with our dedicated team will be ready and waiting for you.

Flexible Rate - Remains fully flexible allowing cancellation or modification to reservation up until 12 Noon day or arrival.

Pre-Paid Rates (Saver Rate, Midweek Breaks, Special Offers) - Changes as follows

When booking direct on a pre-paid rate you’ll not only get the best rate available, but plenty of flexibility to change your date by transferring the deposit to any other date in 2020 free of charge.
  • Flexibility to change or modify your reservation for an alternative date within 2020, so long as this is done 48 hours in advance of your original arrival date.
  • When changing your date the total monetary value of the original booking will be applied to the new date. Special offer package extras may not be available on new booking date.
  • Some dates changes may result in a price change due to seasonal rates, offers or available room types.
  • Full pre-payment will still be taken upon booking.
  • If your choose to cancel your booking completely or fail to arrive you will forfeit your deposit.
  • These terms will be confirmed on last page prior to completing your booking. You will also reveice them in your confirmation email. Some text throughout the booking process may still show our original pre-payment terms, please ignore these.
