One of the premier links courses in the World and only a stones throw away. Host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including The Women’s Open, The Senior Open, The Amateur Championship and The Walker Cup.

Officially recognised as one of the finest Championship courses in the north of England, Fairhaven Golf Club offers golfers of all handicaps a beautiful place to play golf. Home to professional golf since 1934, Fairhaven has all the characteristics of a traditional links course and is immaculately kept from tee to green, allowing year-round golf.

A true links with the championship course measuring 6907 yards having a Course Rating of 74.5. Over many years it has been used by the R&A as a Final Qualifier for The Open most recently from 2018 to 2022 and co-host The Amateur Championship with our neighbours Royal Lytham & St Annes.

A world renowned links course. The Open Championship has been held at Royal Birkdale ten times, most recently in 2017. The course has also hosted the Ryder Cup twice, in 1965 and 1969. Each hole runs through a landscape of high dunes, the fairways are flat and fair and from the tee there is generally a clear view of the task ahead.
